“And…”


And its funny…
How the parody, in front of  me; refuses to subside.
I’ve lost my will to hide, behind my many different faces.
For neither one erases,  all I’ve known.
And I‘ll never show…
What you’ll never see…

And its depressing…
That the voice I hear, within my ear; is only an illusion.
To plague me with confusion, concerning all you’ve said.
I’m sickened in the head, by all your words.
That I’ve never heard…
And you’ll never say…

And its alarming…
How a slight embrace, sends my heart racing; ever oh so fast.
How I wish it would last, for just another moments touch.
Now I’ve said to much, its true.
That I’ll never loose…
What you never gave…

And its frightening…
How a single dream,  haunts me with its means, a single word.
One of which I’ve never heard, escape your lips.
I cannot come to grips,  nor try to hide.
For I have lost my soul…
To the look in your eyes…
